How do we do it?
By advising and helping groups throughout an arts project.
This can be from them having the vaguest of ideas through to completing the project.
For example, from wanting some sort of arts to happen with a group or during a festival, through to unveiling a mural or banner, putting on a performance or music concert, being part of a community celebration or finishing a series of workshops or a course.
We have, though, divided this into 3 phases:
- Deciding what is needed, who will be involved and how, who could help run it and how it could be funded.
- Planning the details of the project - which art forms, when and where it will happen, what will happen at the end of the project, how much it will cost, which artists would be best to work on the project and putting in applications for funding.
- Organising and running workshops, training or courses - from designing and distributing publicity, getting materials or equipment through to rolling our sleeves up and working with you on the practical part of the project right through to the end!
You may want help or advice during one two or all of these phases - that is up to you.
